Veterinary nursing

Veterinary nursing is a way of taking care for animals that are being treated in a veterinary practice. They also help to teach owners on how best to look after their pets. Veterinary nursing includes administering drugs, anesthetics and injections to animals and also they work for preparing animals for surgery. Veterinary nurses practices on holding and monitoring animals during operations and maintaining, sterilizing and laying out surgical equipment. They also clean up after the surgery. Veterinary nursing includes undertaking of diagnostic tests and preparing and sending off laboratory samples. Taking x-rays and caring for, exercising and grooming animal ‘in-patients. Veterinary nursing teaches nurses for giving advices to owners about caring and breeding animals.
